Mental cleansing.

Writing for me is cleansing. It’s like I am cleansing my soul. And at times when I don’t write very often, it feels like I am getting dirty. I start to feel heavy and dirty. Because I have not taken time to dust off the dirt that gets on me by the constant mental work. So I will start to feel heavy. And I think there is always something that we need to do to cleans off our minds. It needs cleansing too. Although there is no apparent and evident dirt that calls off to be cleaned. But inside, we all know some work needs to be done that will ease ourselves. Our soul needs reflecting, and then brushing over the unwanted thoughts and worries. When I don’t come back to it often, I am angry about things that normally don’t trigger me. Not because the thing in itself has aroused that against. But because there is an unknown heaviness for whose reason I put on pity things.

And this mental cleansing can be anything for anyone. It could simply be sitting with your own self. The things you do to remove the unwanted parts of yourself or dust off the external worries and stress. Anything that serves you in this manner cleans you. And that’s why we need to do it every day. The more that you do it, the less often you will have a breakdown. And if you keep postponing and ignoring it, then it will come as a mental break down for the meeting to be held for the immediate mental cleansing.

In this fast pacing world, there are things that are getting into our nerves very quickly. So even if we are not an easily agitated person, if we don't look at what we have been doing. Then we would become what we aren't. And the farther we go from ourselves, the heavier we would feel. It's like a mask that you keep wearing until you find that you can't find your own skin. And that your own skin is a distant thing for you.

Mental cleansing is the same as physical cleansing. It is the same as first cleaning it off altogether. Like you calm your mind down and become silent. And then you wash it off with refreshing and new thoughts that make the stress and worries go away. What is more important is that we do it very often.

There are times we feel as if something needs to be dropped and given up in order to move ahead. Or we feel as if in order for me to move on, I need to settle down something. These are times when the mental cleansing needs to be done. We sit and reflect on our actions and decisions and reactions we have been given. We would find a lot of things to be silly and unwanted and others not going in the direction we thought. Or sometimes the direction we set for isn’t like anything as we thought. These are things to reflect and cleans off what isn’t working and start anew.
